Rajasthan Branch
ENT Specialty was introduced in Rajasthan by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner by inviting Dr. G. Narayanan (1946) as ENT Surgeon who was Post graduate student under Dr. Cherian at Madras (who had been the Governor of Mumbai). Then Dr. G. Narayannan shifted to SMS Medical College, Jaipur in 1949.
He started P.G. Course in ENT in SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
Dr. S.N. Vyas & Col. Verma (Jodhpur) were the first students to get M.S. ENT degree from the state. Dr. Narayanan visited USA 1960 on USA Govt. invitation. He was Addl. Principal & Superintendent of SMS Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur. |
